The Esimaje Foundation

About Us

The Esimaje Foundation started in 2006, when individuals involved with serving young men and fathers from various communities, saw a need for specific programmes geared towards providing mentorship, parenting, life and business/ entrepreneurship skills. We strive to empower men and boys to become leaders of their own lives and role models to their family and community. We have worked with young men in Morvant, Pinto Road in Arima, La Romaine, Basilon in East Port of Spain to mention a few. We provide these programs free of cost to the participants. As a result, we have seen men gradually make positive changes when given the support and a chance to succeed.

Our Story

Our Story

The vision of The Esimaje Foundation started in 2006, when doctors involved with serving young men and fathers from various communities, saw a need for specific programmes geared towards young men to help them make better life choices. Many had no experience of a positive male role model. This gap inspired the creation of holistic programmes to provide mentorship, parenting workshops, life skills, and business/ entrepreneurship spirit. Participants go on to become leaders of their own lives and role models to their families and community. We have worked with young men in under-served communities of Morvant, Pinto Road in Arima, La Romaine, Carenage, and Basilon in East Port of Spain. Our programmes are free and delivered in a hybrid format.
